We’re looking forward to an exciting and challenging 2026, with gigs planned at venues across London. In addition to our traditional summer bandstand performances, we’ll be playing formal concerts at St Giles, Camberwell, and in New Malden, with a brand-new repertoire of compositions and arrangements. Follow the Events link above or check out our Facebook page for more details.

The London Saxophone Choir plays specially arranged music in a variety of styles: baroque, classical, modern and jazz. We give formal concerts, play on bandstands in summer and perform carols in winter. Our core instrumentation is soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxes. We have an inclusive membership policy (no auditions) and draw members from all walks of life.

Our musical director, Stuart Longley, is a professional musician with over 20 years' experience of leading community ensembles.

The LSC is not a school, but members and the musical director are always available to give help and support to new or less experienced members.
